Gurukul Jhajjar

GURUKUL JHAJJAR                Gurukul Jhajjar is an institution founded on the outskirts of Jhajjar city in Haryana by  Mahasya Vishwambhar Das, Swami Parmanand and Swami Brahmananda  on 1 6 May 1915 (Vikram Samvat 1972) . Interestingly, it was not affiliated with Guruku, Gurukul Kangri, but was independent. During the First World War, he emphasized the virtues of purushartha through guru-bhakti (reverence for the teacher) and practice, especially in the akhadas - ideals that were part of the pre-existing religious culture and were also central to the  Arya Samaj. गुरुकुल झज्जर

गुरुकुल   झज्जर                                           स्वा मी ओमानन्द सरस्वती   ने   झज्जर - रेवाड़ी   रोड पर एक ऐसे गुरुकुल का संचालन किया कि आज झज्जर क्षेत्र में यह केन्द्र अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय ख्यातिप्राप् ‍ त शिक्षा संस्थान है । झज्जर गुरुकुल की स्थापना 16 मई 1915 में पं . विश् ‍ वम्भर दास झज्जर निवासी ने की । इसी दिन महात्मा मुंशीराम जी ( श्रद्धानन्द ) ने गुरुकुल की आधारशिला रखी । 138 बीघा जमीन पं . विश् ‍ वम्भर दास ने दान स्वरूप दी । गुरुकुल झज्जर का 20 वर्षों तक स्वामी परमानन्द जी संचालन किया । इस काल में गुरुकुल झज्जर ने बहुत उतार - चढ़ाव देखे । स्वामी परमानंद स्वामी   ओमानन्द   सरस्वती स्वामी ब्रह्मानंद             अंततः 22 सितंबर 1942 को स्वामी ब्रह्मानन्द जी ,  जगदेव सिंह सिद्धान्ती   और श्री छोटूराम के आग्रह पर ...
