GURUKUL JHAJJAR
Gurukul Jhajjar is an institution founded on the outskirts of Jhajjar city in Haryana by Mahasya Vishwambhar Das, Swami Parmanand and Swami Brahmananda on 16 May 1915 (Vikram Samvat 1972). Interestingly, it was not affiliated with Guruku, Gurukul Kangri, but was independent. During the First World War, he emphasized the virtues of purushartha through guru-bhakti (reverence for the teacher) and practice, especially in the akhadas - ideals that were part of the pre-existing religious culture and were also central to the Arya Samaj.

Finally, on 22 September 1942, Swami Bhagwan Dev Ji took over as Gurukul Jhajjar on the insistence of Swami Brahmanand Ji, Jagdev Singh Siddhanti and Shri Chhoturam. At that time there were two-four younger Brahmachari, two-three old employees in Gurukul. The cowshed had two bulls and arrow-four cows. Two or three thatch were lying in the cowshed. There was a big hall room and two small rooms adjoining it, some people had taken away their timber. There used to be a saltwater well. Had to bathe in it. The same wealth was found in Acharya Bhagwan Ji in Gurukul Jhajjar, but what was it after assuming the Gurukul, as if the gold connoisseur had been found and the progress cycle of Gurukul Jhajjar was so intense that it was delayed from 20 to 22 February 1947 The foundation stone of the Goshala was laid by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, who later became the President of India, at the Silver Jubilee celebrations.
